Thoughts at night and Elisabetta Franchi

I slightly disappeared from the online world last week, I know it. The reason actually is that we are working on the fulfillment of another dream, or vice versa. Probably I must be mad to have dreams related to work, but for me it has never been an obligation, even I don’t see the work as a job, but as a lifestyle, passion and endless opportunity for yourself. This is not always good for the people around me, but that’s another topic. A few days ago I couldn’t sleep from excitement for the project, which we are preparing, I continuously created some notes and ideas in my mind, until I finally got out of bed at 03:00 at night to write them down driven from the fear of forgetting them and this was happening until the morning. I love that feeling of adrenaline and excitement, I’m even getting addicted to it. I realized that at the moment I’m feeling most happy and alive.

I’m writing this post in a warm place with а view from high, staring at the lights of the cars and thinking… In each car there is at least one person who heads somewhere. They think that they know what will happen, but so rarely they are right that now refuse to make plans and think. Moment after moment, look after acquaintance, day after night, failure after success, but they didn’t stop to dream and follow their direction. Before I had the opinion that we should put ourselves on the stream and let it took us wherever it wants, but now I think that we create it ourselves. Sometimes we swim against it and think that it’s just not our direction, there’s no sense to continue and we turn the direction, but nothing good is easy to find. And as Alan Watts says: “Better to have a short life that is full of which you like doing than a long life spent in a miserable way. And after all, if you do really like what you are doing – it doesn’t really matter what it is – you can eventually become a master of it. It’s the only way of becoming the master of something, to be really with it. And then you will be able to get a good fee for whatever it is.”
