Hello, friends! It’s cold, dark and wet outside, but this weather is my favorite. Somehow, this weather is so romantic and dreamy that it takes me in a warm place like home or the office, where the coffee is hot and spiced with cinnamon. It makes me want to create, too. Recently, I’m thinking more about how much I’m willing to experiment and go beyond my comfort zone. You know that I like simple and clean fabrics, patterns and colors, but this time I decided to dive in а completely new territory, plunged straight into the deep end with KENZOxH&M and their collaboration. In this collection the colours and prints are contrasted and clashed, kimonos inform the cut, ribbons and ruffles give folkloric charm, while sporty shapes add urban energy. Overflowing with femininity and details, this collection took me to a place with modern decor, a combination of Japanese minimalism and Chinese decorative, built entirely on the principles of feng shui – SASA. I couldn’t resist not trying some of their traditional dishes, but I will tell you more another time. Now I leave you to enjoy this collision between East and West and my exit out of the comfort zone. Perhaps I should do it more often?
