I have travelled to many places in the world, but I have never come across so magical and interesting place as the little Italian town Alberobello. The whole city is built of small white houses (trulli), which at first you can easily likened to bee hives, pyramids or something like this. So pretty, beautiful, neat and nice, right in that moment I felt like in a fairy tale. The interesting thing about these houses (trulli) is that they are made only of limestone and rocks as no cement or other material to weld.
Walking into this place, you can easily lose sense of time. Alberobello presents calm energy that is in the air and the olive trees create the perfect accent. The streets seem to get smaller and smaller and at one point looking around and realize that you are in a wonderful maze from where it is difficult to get out. And each next step takes me deeper into the city. Tempting smell of fresh pasta with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella, sprinkled with walnuts comes from somewhere. I felt I’m really in Italy. I couldn’t resist and tried the local pasta and it was the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten in my life. At this moment I didn’t want to do nothing else except to enjoy the quality and taste, which they served me. I didn’t want even to photograph it or remember the name – only to enjoy each subsequent bite.
