Hello, mints! How are you? Do you already have a summer mood? I’m very happy to announce you that my last session as bachelor has completed successfully. Now it only left me to immerse myself fully in to my preparation for the state exam, which is at the end of the month. Then a final “presentation” in early July and then I can safely indulge the summer. Sounds “good”, right? I can’t wait everything to end well and to enroll my so desirable master’s degree at NBU – “Advertising and Brand Management”. I’ll be glad if someone has a personal impression of this course to share? Overall I am greatly interested in this area and it really gives me pleasure to learn, work and develop in this area. Of course after some time I may find a brand new passion that gives me greater pleasure, but at this stage I’m sure exactly what I want to do. On the one hand it’s a real relief, because before that I used to throw into infinitely different and away from me professions. I remember when I was little I wanted to become a vet. Then I wanted to be a lawyer, but then I wanted to be in politics. Honestly, I don’t know when its good for a young person to understand what he wants to do in the future. In the last two years I have realized what I am good at and what makes me really happy to do it. Many of my colleagues still don’t know where to head after graduation. If you are currently in a similar situation I would advise you not to stop experimenting with yourself, trying new things until you find something for you, exit from the “comfort zone” and take the risk.
I have a very favorite quote by Jack Ma for this occasion: „Before you turn 20 years old, be a good student – just to get some experience. Before you turn 30 years old, follow somebody. Go to a small company. Normally, in a big company, it is good to learn processing; you are part of a big machine. But when you go to a small company, you learn the passion, you learn the dreams. You learn to do a lot of things at one time. So before 30 years old, it’s not which company you go to, it’s which boss you follow. A good boss teaches you differently. Between 30 and 40 years old, you need to think clearly whether you want to work for yourself, if you really want to be an entrepreneur. When you’re between 40 and 50 years old, you must do all the things that you are good at. Don’t try to jump into a new area, it’s too late. You may be successful, but the rate of dying is too big. So when you’re between the ages of 40 and 50, think about how you can focus on things that you are good at. But when you are 50 to 60 years old, work for the young people. Because young people can do better than you. So rely on them, invest in them, and make sure they’re good. When you are over 60 years old, spend time on yourself. On the beach, sunshine, it’s too late for you to change.
This is my advice to the young people: 25 years old, make enough mistakes. Don’t worry! You fall, you stand up, you fall… enjoy it! You’re 25 years old, enjoy the show!”
